A former Overland Park man already serving prison time for producing child pornography pleaded guilty today to charges of sexually assaulting a teenage girl.

Patrick Neal Porter, 41, pleaded guilty in Johnson County District Court to two felony counts of taking indecent liberties with a child. Sentencing is scheduled for Sept. 5.

Thirty-four other counts alleging abuse of the same girl were dismissed.

Porter is already serving a 20-year federal prison sentence in the pornography case.

His wife, Barbara Porter, was sentenced to five years in federal prison for obstruction of justice after Patrick Porter took the victim from protective custody in 2010 and fled to California, where he was later arrested.
