Police are investigating the death of a man who they say apparently committed suicide this morning in the parking lot outside an Overland Park Walmart.

Police responding to a call about 9:20 a.m. found the man inside a sport utility vehicle in the parking lot of the Walmart at 15700 Metcalf Ave.

Police were investigating the man’s death.
