A 50-year-old jogger suffered serious injuries this morning when a pickup truck hit him while he was crossing the street.

The jogger was hit about 7:10 a.m. near West 127th Street and North Canyon Drive.

While crossing 127th Street, the man was struck by the pickup as it was turning onto eastbound 127th Street from Canyon Drive.

The jogger was taken to a hospital for treatments. The pickup driver remained at the scene as was not injured.

The incident remains under investigation by Olathe Police Department’s Traffic Unit.
